Brief Description:
The Cultural Arts Council of Estes Park is a privately supported 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting all forms of art in the greater Estes Valley. We provide free or affordable arts programming and act as a vital information and support resource for the arts community. We act kind of like a "Chamber for the Arts" for the greater Estes Valley. We serve over 42,000 individuals each year and continue to grow. Our volunteers dedicate over 8,000 hours of service to the community each year. If you would like to volunteer, please contact us.
Our overall mission is to ensure that the arts are an essential part of the cultural environment in the greater Estes Valley.
We have a Board of Directors that runs day to day operations and that set overall direction. We have important relationships with our Affiliate and Associate Members and our wonderful Media Members are always working to help the arts in the greater Estes Valley.
Further Details
We provide venue, exposure, and opportunities for arts organizations,
local galleries and individual artists/performers thus promoting growth
and economic stability for area arts.
The Arts Council provide arts education experiences for the public or volunteer
staff in which new skills or knowledge can be gained through exposure to
the arts.
We provide this internet site and an office staff that provide support
and supply information pertaining to community arts events, education or
referrals for visual and performing arts/artists, e-mail facilities, fax,
phone and walk-in inquiries.
We provide and maintain E-News.
The Cultural Arts Council supports partnerships and links between the
arts and business, schools or government as a result of networking the
various program needs with actual facility use.
We provide direct financial support of the local arts and artists
through a re-gifting grant program in which grants are awarded through an
application process. This support is funded via private donations.
We organize, support and coordinate several community art events each
year.
The Arts Council organizes and supports many Youth Arts Programs
during the year.
We provide opportunities for self-esteem and personal growth through the ARTS CORPS (student volunteers).
We organize and coordinate Exhibits in the Lobby, Student Expressions
and Art in Public Places.
We partner with all art groups, artists, galleries and supporters who
wish to partner with us. For example, we partner with the local TV,
radio stations and newspapers to help support the arts.
